Our Products

As a recently formed company, the range of products is still increasing. Products are market tested at food and gift fairs to ensure there is public enjoyment before being offered on the website. As we are always looking for good ideas, we would be grateful for any indications of product lines you would like to stock as this gets the creative juices flowing! Our range of savoury jellies are based on traditional recipes, but given a twist to better suit the modern palette. Vinegars or alcohols are steeped in herbs, flowers, fruit and spices to underpin flavour and balance sweetness. These jellies complement fish, meat and cheeses and are suitable for vegetarians. They are not suitable for diabetics.

Jellies available year round

Unless indicated to the contrary, all jellies are reduction jellies based on whole fruit. They contain a mixture of vinegars, some flavoured to balance the sweetness. No artificial colouring, setting agent or flavouring is added. The jellies are vegetarian, indeed vegan friendly. [Click here to view products]

Seasonal Jellies

Due to the seasonality and availability of fresh fruit, the following are made in batches at specific times of the year. Some are made in greater quantity than others and may be available year round. [Click here to view products]

Preserves

These preserves are made traditionally by hand without using artificial setting agents or manufactured pectin to ensure a set. They contain just seasonal fresh fruit and sugar. They cannot be called a "jam" (although they may look and behave as a jam) as their sugar content falls below the statutory definition namely 60g/100g of product. We are not prepared to compromise taste by increasing the sugar content, nor will we use artificial sweetners or setting agents to fall within the statutory definition of reduced sugar jam. Chutneys

Using only whole fresh fruit with minimal levels of sugar and salt to ensure preservation. Consequently chutneys are made when the fruit is in season. [Click here to view products]
